Striar JCC Leader-In-Training Program
The Striar Summer Leader-In-Training (LIT) program is a leadership development program for teenagers in grades 8-10. The program focuses on team building skills, communication and independent leadership skills. The program serves as a bridge between camper and counselor years, where young teens are able to learn through hands-on experience with younger campers as well as through interaction and observation from older staff.
LITs will:

Engage in team building activity sessions with the LIT coordinator

Observe older counselors at work

Keep written journals of their camp experiences

Work with an assigned group of children

Work together to plan and lead camp-wide activities and theme days
Grades: 8th - 10th
